I spent hours researching different vending machines found in Japan for my presentation. Toilet paper, fresh flowers, hot ramen, eggs, rice, sake, beer, french fries.... these vending machines have everything from life essentials to .... used school girl panties(see left! my roommate thought it was disgusting). One way or another, you really gotta give it to the unique creative minds working in Japan.
Beer and sake vending machines are everywhere and are available to anyone including children.

I've always been amused by the strange things you can get from Japanese vending machines. Thanks for showing everyone one of the more... um... unique sides of Japanese life. *laughs*

I've heard that some Japanese drink machines will change the price depending on how hot the weather is.
